I found an interesting review of the 2010 Hokitika Wild Food Festival by an Australia food writer, on her blog: notquitenigella

HI Martin nice talkng to you at the Browns Bay market last sunday . After talking with you about wild food and things I followed your link to Not Quite Nigella and found it very interesting and informative. I have always fancied going to the wild food festival although I would be reluctant I'm sure, to try some of the goods on sale.It is a pity we don't have something similar in Auckland , maybe just with seafood or what have you, or maybe now we are even more diverse in our many cultures we could have just cultural foods .Just a thought , I know I like trying all the European and Asian foods as well as the Indian and and and and .......... ha everything ! Watced your cooking bread show on Youtube and you came across very well .Good luck in the future.Colin.Ps Glad you liked the Pork pie after having such a bad one in Bristol, was it?
